Salvation of Christ
00:00 / 05:43
The Bible tells us God created and rules everything.
Genesis 1:1; Revelation 4:11; Colossians 1:16-17
The Trinity, in Christian doctrine is three persons in one, the unity of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit, God’s divine administrator on earth, recreating the life of Christ in His people.
Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, born of a virgin through miraculous conception (Matthew 1:18-23).
He lived a sinless life, offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for all sins, died on the cross, and arose after three days (Matthew 28:1-6) to demonstrate His power over sin and death and offer reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 3:1-10).
You must hear the gospel of Jesus Christ in order to be saved.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and Romans 10:14
The ABCs are part of the salvation of prayer.
There are so many scriptures to support the below actions, but these were a few that stood out.
Admit to God that you are a sinner.
Acts 3:19
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; accept God’s gift of forgiveness from sin.
John 14:6
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Ephesians 2:8-9
8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Romans 10:9-10, 13
9 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Matthew 7:13-14
13 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
If you are not a Christian and feel ready to commit your life to Christ, take a moment to read this scripture and realize not everyone is able to see and hear what the Lord is saying in order to take the next step.
Matthew 13:16-17
16 But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; 17 for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
Then say the Lord’s Prayer of Salvation and accept how truly blessed you are to even recognize the need for Christ.
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. In your Holy name Jesus Christ, amen.
Now you are renewed with Christ, you are a Christian and a child of the most High God.
Remember, it's not the words of the prayer that save you; it's the acceptance, belief, confession and finally repentance and faith in your heart that lay hold of salvation.
Next steps – build an intimate relationship with the Lord.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 8:8
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
It’s time to walk in the victories laid before you. It’s time to walk in the fullness of confidence and do the works that He places in your heart.
No need to worry about tomorrow, it has enough worry without thinking about it today.
Take life moment by moment and be present.
Fight the negativities that will try to reconnect you to the old ways and remember; you have been set free; you have the victory! Amen!
