Step 5 - If I Only Knew?

Updated: Sep 13, 2024

If I only knew the level of confidence I had when I was younger.

If I only knew decisions made were not going to be permanent and follow me the rest of my life.

If I only knew Christ was leading and guiding my every step, even when I didn’t deserve it.

If I only knew when one door closed many others would open.

If I only knew no weapon formed against me could prosper.

If I only knew greater, is He that is within me than he that is in the world.

If I only knew, we are what we eat and drink.

If I only knew how important the building blocks of life really were, such as education, travel and stepping out of my comfort zones.

If I only knew not to judge anything based on its outer appearance.

If I only knew really listening to a person tells us exactly who they are and not based on what they said, more importantly what they weren’t saying.

If I only knew that no matter what comes my way, as a Child of the most High God, I have the victory and nothing I mentioned prior has the power to limit me.

He brought me through each trial and tribulation and my testimony is filled with power and transformative drops of wisdom.

Now that I know, what will I do with the information I’ve learned?
Will I continue to use “if I only knew” as an excuse?

John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

If you only knew my story, you'd see there's hope for everyone, no matter what "we only knew at the time;" in Him you'll grow and see and hear His direction for your life!

Disclaimer - I do not own the rights to this song; music is a form of worship that brings unity, peace and unconditional love.

If you are not a Christian, consider giving your life to Christ today; don’t let another day go by, we are not promised tomorrow.
